As a child, Pete attended church with his mom, but didn’t give his life to Christ until he was 30 years of age. After being saved, Pete began to teach a children’s Sunday School class at Elsharath Baptist Church and fell in love with youth ministry. He also served as a deacon, Sunday School director, and youth director at Elsharath. In 2011, Pete was called away from the church he had attended for 12 years and had no idea what God was doing when He led him to Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, but he knew he and his family were where God wanted them to be. After only 6 months at Mt. Calvary, the need for a youth director arose, and Pete took on the role. Pete now serves on staff as a youth minister to an active youth group.
