Terry J. Waychoff is a native of Clendenin, West Virginia and has been happily married to the former Susan Patton for 33 years. They are the proud parents of two sons: Joshua, 33, and Samuel, 31, and are also the proud grandparents of Isabella, 7, Natalie, 4, Elisha (Beck), 3, and Wesley, 2. He is retired from the United States Air Force with a total of 29 years of service and has completed various structured biblical courses and personal studies as a student of Biblical Studies at Liberty University Online since 2009. He has served as a Deacon in two previous churches, as well as taught Sunday School at various age levels. He has also served in several local, national, and international mission outreaches, including the country of Ecuador. He and Susan have also served together as volunteers at Voice of the Martyrs in Bartlesville, OK since 2013.
In 1985, at the age of 25, Terry received Jesus Christ as His Savior and Lord while attending a Nazarene Church in Minot, North Dakota. After his conversion, he immediately sought to grow in his Christian life while serving his local church, as well as his country, as a member of the armed services. He continued this pattern of serving the church while in the military until his retirement in 2012 at the rank of Senior Master Sergeant. His passion is reading, studying, and sharing the Word of God.
Terry’s hobbies include leisure traveling with his wife, reading, hunting, volunteering with Christian organizations, spending time with grandchildren, watching old movies, Christian movies, and some sporting events. Terry hopes to meet each of you at MCBC to worship, fellowship, in service to Jesus Christ, who is both Savior and Lord.
